The Importance of Critical Thinking

Updated: Nov 28, 2020

Description :

Critical Thinking itself has meaning reasoning activities that are carried out reflexively or suddenly, critically, creatively, and are oriented towards a thought process that will result in the formation of a concept, and an analysis. This process is generated from a mindset based on observation, experience, reflection, action, and communication. Thinking will lead you to find a purpose, and find the understanding that you want.

Benefits of Critical Thinking:

-More independent

Critical thinking enables you to think more independently, which means you don't have to rely on other people all the time. When faced with a complicated and difficult situation and you have to make a decision immediately, you don't need to wait for someone who you think is capable of solving the problem, because you can solve the problem yourself.

-Not Easily Deceived

Critical thinking enables you to think more rationally and with reason. You make decisions based on facts, or you will analyze a presumption first and then relate it to a fact. You do not easily believe what other people say. So that it will make it easier for you not to be deceived or cheated by others.

-Easy to understand other people's point of view

Critical thinking makes your mind and brain more flexible. You will not be too rigid in thinking about the opinions or ideas of others. You find it easier to accept other people's opinions and perceptions that are different from your own.

Conclusion :

The conclusion is that you need to think critically to find informative, useful, and accountable conclusions and decisions. Because these decisions and conclusions are obtained from the analysis of various and varied opinions, assumptions, and ideas. The difference in ideas or ideas will make you think critically, which is to find clarity, similarities, and differences from each collection of all these ideas.
