Embracing diversity by respecting the difference and treating it equally and fairly carries a very important impact that people often look forward to. This is ideal and can be the key to resolving conflicts that offend which can indirectly hurt people mentally. Unfortunately we are sometimes ignorant and do not realize our behavior and attitudes that offend others. That matters can be caused by insensitivity and lack of understanding of someone's background which can lead to bad taste misunderstandings and can even trigger conflict due to offense.
To avoid this, it requires knowledge of the differences that exist where we can start studying, recognizing and accommodating the diversity of cultures or other cultures. Within cultural differences there are eight main types: contextual, social, legal and ethical, nonverbal, gender, age, religion and ability.
