How not to be Decieved by False Informations

Updated: Sep 29, 2020

A word has tremendous meaning from a perspective. So is a picture. Both can change the meaning of an intention in communicating. Therefore, to receive valid information requires completeness in the information. But what if the information received is invalid, and highly biased? All you need to know is how not to be fooled, and this is the steps to filter that information.

Use Your Patience

Every time you come across something new, don't immediately assume everything is true. Be patient in making decisions in sorting out which information is right or wrong. Try to control your emotions, if the news is not a good for you.

Use Your Brain

Once you can control yourself, now ask yourself. Is this information that I get logical, is it biased, or is this information actually incomplete? The picture or writing that you are looking at can sometimes change your view, so try to think it carefully.

Use Your Wisdom

After you analyze and understand the truth of an information, try to see the situation. Is the information you have got worth sharing, or is it inappropriate? Do you need to keep this information in mind? I suggest you stay away from media or sources of information that are not legitimate, and there is no need to share news or pictures that are not important to people. Wisdom is needed here.

I hope that you as readers can understand and realize the importance of protecting yourself from hoax information. Do not be fooled by the media, but think critically to understand a logic about an information, and be wise in using it.
