Great way of composing message

As you may know, writing or e-mailing your colleagues or superiors must be done carefully and politely. Not only that, but the message given should certainly be compelling and persuasive. So here are three aspects you must care to create the best message.

Words

Words are the simplest component in a writing. Therefore, the use of words will definitely affect the sentence to the whole text. In composing a message, try to use clear words. Language doesn't need to be too stiff, sometimes it's good to use abstract and concrete words. The use of denotative and connotative words is also recommended, especially if you wish to make a request.

But, the most important thing is how powerful is the word. The use of these "strong" words is a method of persuasion. Try looking for words with stronger emphasis. For example, instead of using "the effect is good" it would be better if it was changed to "the effect is flawless" and so on. The use of this technique should not be overused, as it will lead to more dramatization than persuasion.

Sentences

Sentence is a construction of various words combined into one sentence. Depending on the context, a sentence can consist of more than one clause. It is recommended to choose sentences that are efficient and not exaggerated.

A sentence must be accompanied by facts and arguments. Especially if you want to persuade, emphasize the initial wording and use facts to support your statement. For example, "The Industry is better to be built on Indonesia, because the wages are lower than in the US." With proper sentence selection and emphasis, persuasion will run smoothly.

Paragraphs

Paragraph is a series of sentences with facts and arguments in it. Paragraphs must be coherent with other paragraphs in order to make a good message. In one paragraph, there must be a main sentence in the form of an argument. Later, the main sentence will be followed by supporting ideas in the form of fact sentences.

Don't forget to use conjunctions to clarify your writing and argument, so that the sentence is not static. You can create illustrations, comparisons, classifications, and cause and effect models in making good paragraphs.

These are three important aspects of writing a message. If you have paid attention to these three aspects properly, the message conveyed will also function according to its purpose.
